- This audio recording begins with Joseph E. Lowery speaking at the 29th Annual Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) Convention on August 13, 1986 in Jacksonville, Florida. Lowery speaks about racial justice and the fight against poverty in America. He then proceeds to introduce the Reverend Allan Boesak, a South African anti-apartheid activist. Boesak speaks about the struggle against apartheid in South Africa.
