- This video features recordings of several events related to the celebration of Joseph E. Lowery's eightieth birthday and the dedication of the Lowery Institute as well as the renaming of Ashby Street to Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard. The video opens with Tyrone Brooks and Joseph E. Lowery speaking at the dedication of the Lowery Institute and includes the signing of a "Door of Advocacy" by Clark Atlanta University students. The video then documents a speech by Lowery given to students at D.M. Therrell High School, followed by a question and answer session with students. The video also features footage related to the dedication ceremony for the street name unveiling of Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard. Speakers at this event include Atlanta Mayor Bill Campbell, Tyrone Brooks, and others, with Lowery closing out the remarks.
