- This video features footage of a lecture by Joseph E. Lowery to schoolchildren at Gainesville College on February 9, 1996. Lowery speaks about his experiences growing up in Huntsville, Alabama, the civil rights movement, and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference's campaigns against drugs and gun violence. The video then switches to a prayer vigil in College Park, Georgia to support the SCLC's Stop the Killing, End the Violence campaign. This footage is part of a larger video object that contains copyrighted material that the Library cannot publish online.
