- Description:
- Dr. Helmut Theilicke (1908-1986) was a German Protestant theologian and chancellor of the University of Hamburg from 1960 to 1978. In this sermon, Dr. Theilicke addresses some obstacles that hinder Gods people from having faith. He stresses the importance of keeping the faith throughout Gods silent moments. Dr. Theilicke references different Biblical stories where different people showed great faith during difficult times. He also uses Gods silence while Jesus was on the cross as an illustration of how some of the greatest deliverances and blessings come during Gods silent moments. Ends abruptly.
