Section 2. That the county clerk of each county in the state, for the purpose of such registration, shall provide a well- bound book, to be kept in the office of the county clerk and ex-officio registrar, under this act, in which he shall transcribe all the names of voters in his county duly registered by the qualified registrars of election for said county in the year 1872, in the registration books of said county on file in the office of said clerk.
