- Student demonstrations at Alabama State College in Montgomery, Alabama, in the spring of 1969. The film begins with press conferences led by Sylvester Scott during a ten-day takeover of the school's dining hall, during which students boycotted classes to demand that president Levi Watkins meet with them to discuss a list of demands. At 0:03:02, the footage switches to shots of nighttime meetings and statements, followed by (at 0:05:01) daytime scenes of students and supporters marching from campus to the Capitol on Dexter Avenue, where they attempted to present their grievances against the college administration to Governor Albert Brewer. Hosea Williams of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference participated in the march.
