The footage is silent. 0:03:40: Boone discussing problems within the SCLC, as well as his belief that civil rights activists should change their tactics, focusing on political education and voter registration rather than large public demonstrations (". . . the use of the big march, I think, at this point has about played out"). Boone had been working as an SCLC coordinator to organize the Poor People's Campaign. Roosevelt Barnett is seated behind him. 0:06:47: Joe L. Reed, executive secretary of the Alabama State Teachers Association addressing an ASTA delegate assembly at Alabama State College in Montgomery on February 21, 1969. The footage is silent. 0:14:01: Julian Bond being interviewed by a reporter at the airport in Montgomery, Alabama.
