- Mrs. Marshall was a candidate for the Bullock County school board. The meeting brought together representatives from African American political and voter organizations throughout the state. This image was used in the article "Leaders in 15 Counties Meet to Plan Bloc Vote" by John Klein, which appeared on pages 1 and 5 of The Southern Courier for March 12-13, 1966.
