- Voting is taking place inside the building. Signs over the door read "Rest Room" and "Mens Rest Room" [sic]; a piece of paper is taped over the first door, so it may actually read "Womens Rest Room." This image was taken for (but not used in) the photo spread "Rural Election Day," which appeared on page 3 of The Southern Courier for November 19-20, 1966.
