- The woman in the center is bent forward. Walter Turner, Solomon Seay, Jr., and Charles S. Conley spoke at the meeting; Turner was an assistant attorney general for the state, and Seay and Conley were both civil rights attorneys in Montgomery. This image was taken for (but not used in) the article "Lawyers Say New Court Decision Threatens Future Demonstrations" by Mary Ellen Gale, which appeared on page 2 of The Southern Courier for November 26-27, 1966.
