- The teacher would begin the lesson by passing out an anticipation guide, which will consist of 4-5 questions about primary and secondary sources. The students will read the questions and write true or false next to the statement. The students will then place this beside their desk until the end of the lesson. The teacher will then explain the difference between a primary and secondary source. The teacher will list examples of each on the board and allow the students to place each example on the correct side of the Venn diagram The Venn diagram will have a circle labeled primary source, both, and secondary source.
