- After discussing the conditions of the Great Depression, we will be reviewing first hand accounts of students affected by the closure of their schools in the South. We will be looking and comparing the two letters and why they were written. We will write a compare and contrast of the two letters. We will also write our own letter as if our school is closign during the Depression and what would we tell Governor Miller of the importance.
