- Teacher will review primary sources and discuss the different types students may come in contact with. Students will try to think of different types of priamry sources they have seen during their study of the Great Depression. Teacher will call on students to answer and write the different types on an anchor chart. The teacher will explain that they will be looking at a primary source from a student from the Great Depression. Each student will get a copy, and they will work with a partner to figure out who, what, when, where, and wy this primary source was written. The teacher will set a 15 minute timer to allow partners to gather information. Once the time is up, the teacher will help analyze the primary source.
