- These photographs were taken by Jim Peppler to document the work of the CALS program, a predecessor of Legal Services NYC. Among them are images of MFY Legal Services and Bronx Legal Services. Peppler worked as a photographer for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund (LDF) from about 1966-1985.
