- This photograph was taken on behalf of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund (LDF); the negatives were in sleeves labeled "People - Oram Group," but some of the individuals pictured appear to be LDF staff members. The Oram Group a fundraising and public relations consulting firm specializing in philanthropic organizations. Peppler worked as a photographer for the LDF from about 1966 to 1985.
