Biography:

Born Hulon Mitchell, Jr. on October 27, 1935 in Kingfisher, Okla. and died on May 7, 2007 in Miami, Florida, Yahweh Ben Yahweh served as the leader of Atlanta's Mosque Number 15. After leaving the Nation of Islam, he founded the Black separatist sect, Nation of Yahweh in the Miami area. In 1992, Yahweh ben Yahweh was convicted of conspiracy to commit murder, but not racketeering, and sentenced to 18 years in prison. (Obituary, New York Times, May 9, 2007)
