Wright, J. Skelly
- Biography:
- New Orleans native, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana (1949-1962), Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit (1962-1988). Wright (known by some White Southerners as "Judas Wright") ordered the desegregation of Louisiana State University's Law School in 1951 and played an important role during the desegregation of New Orleans' public schools.
