- Biography:
- Randolph was born on April 4, 1949 in Rankin County, Mississippi, near Brandon. He attended Utica Junior College in Utica, Mississippi, for one year, and then enrolled at Tougaloo College, in Tougaloo, Mississippi. Randolph completed his BA degree in Religion and Philosophy in 1972. In 1976, he completed his Master of Divinity degree from Emory University and Gammon Theological Seminary. After completing his theological studies, Randolph pastored St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Gulfport, Mississippi. He later moved on to St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
