- Biography:
- Samuel Timothy Nash was a twenty-four year old part-time employee of the United States Postal Service when he was arrested in Jackson, Mississippi for his participation in the Freedom Rides. As part of the Freedom Ride, Nash took a bus from Montgomery, Alabama to Jackson, Mississippi where he was arrested at the Trailways terminal in Jackson, Mississippi on 21 June 1961.
