- Civil rights worker featured in the Alabama Department of Public Safety's publication, Individuals active in civil disturbances. Light worked in the Jackson COFO office from April to September 1964. From September 1964 to August 1965 he was a SNCC organizer in Starkville, MS and Oktibehah County and was involved in voter registration and with the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party.
