- Biography:
- A native of Nashville, Tennessee, as a twenty-year old Tennessee State University student, Knight took part in the ride from Nashville to Jackson, Mississippi via Montgomery, Alabama on May 28, 1961. She was one of the fourteen student Freedom Riders to be expelled from Tennessee State University in June 1961.
