- Biography:
- African American labor activist and personal assistant and bodyguard to Reverend Fred Shuttlesworth. He served as part of a security detail for the Alabama Christian Movement for Human Rights (ACMHR) that worked to protect black leaders, their homes, and churches from Klan attacks. He also testified against J. B. Stoner in a 1977 trial.
