- Biography:
- Thomas Mitchell Jackson established a law practice in Macon in July 1964. He was lead counsel in the school desegregation suits in Bibb and Houston counties. He was judge of the city's recorder's court from 1977 to 1984 and the first black to hold judicial office in Bibb County.
