- Biography:
- Larry G. Hanshaw was a student at Tougaloo College during the 1960s when he, along with other students from the Jackson, Mississippi area, participated in an Anti-Vietnam War demonstration during a visit from Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara. Hanshaw went on to earn a M.Ed. in Natural Science and Education from the University of Delaware, as well as, a Ph.D. in Science Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is Professor of Secondary Science Education at the University of Mississippi.
