- Biography:
- Robert Fulton Boyd Hunter is the former record of the Church of the Atonement Episcopal congregation in Washington, D.C. In 1961, when he was rector of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, he was struck during a March civil rights demonstration in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In 1966 he and Albert Dreisbach, members of the Episcopal Society for Cultural and Racial Unity, participated in a ninety-eight hour fast to protest the continued segregation of Lovett School in Atlanta, Georgia.
