- Biography:
- Francis Emory Greene was born and raised in Bibb County, Georgia. He served four years in the United States Air Force from 1948 to 1952 after which he returned to Macon. He served as county councilman and later as county chairman. Greene ran unsuccessfully for mayor of Macon against Ronnie Thompson in 1971.
