Biography:

Bertha Gober, a student at Albany State College, was arrested November 22, 1961 after testing for compliance in the bus station with the ICC ruling banning segregation in facilities for interstate travel. She was arrested again on December 10, 1961 along with Charles Jones, Willa Mae Henderson, and eight freedom riders from Atlanta.
