- Biography:
- Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1941, Miriam Feingold was a student at Swarthmore College when she was arrested in Jackson, Mississippi for her participation in a Freedom Ride from Montgomery, Alabama to Jackson, Mississippi. Feingold later went on to work with noted civil rights activist, Gloria Richardson and served as a CORE voting rights activist in Louisiana.
