- Biography:
- Member of the Ku Klux Klan from Alabama who was arrested with three others for the murder of Viola Liuzzo, white civil rights worker from Michigan, following the Selma to Montgomery march on March 25, 1965. Eaton was 4l, a retired steel worker, married and the father of five children. After his arrest he was freed on $50,000 bond, then charged in December 1965 with conspiring to deprive Liuzzo of her civil rights, convicted, and sentenced to 10 years in prison.
