- Biography:
- Member of the Executive Committee of the Montgomery Improvement Association and African American Episcopal priest who was chaplain at Alabama State College and vicar of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Montgomery, Alabama until 1960. In 1960, Bishop Carpenter dismissed DuBose from his post after leading a march with Ralph Abernathy in March 1960 protesting the expulsion of nine Alabama State College students for their participation in sit-ins.
