Dickson, Joe, 1933-
- Biography:
- African American civil rights and community activist, and journalist. As a Miles College student, he participated in civil rights marches and selective buying campaigns. In the 1960s, Dickson worked with the Urban League and acted as the Deputy Director for an experimental demonstration project at Miles College that trained African Americans for jobs in the community.
