- White female civil rights worker and nurse who came to Holly Springs, Mississippi during Freedom Summer (1964) under the auspices of the National Council of Churches. She served as a Freedom School teacher, cook, housekeeper, nurse, treasurer, secretary, and house mother. Dahl remained in Holly Springs for a total of six months during which she also assisted in community organization efforts.
