Biography:

"Mr. Brodie Crump was born in Morristown, Tennessee in October, 1898. Since 1899, however, Mr. Crump has lived in Greenville, Mississippi and has been described as Greenville's walking history book. Although a former cotton broker and cattle rancher, Mr. Brodie Crump is best known for his newspaper column. This column, titled "Mostly Old Stuff," has been regularly featured in the Delta Democrat-Times of Greenville since 1947 and has been described by his editor as "an interesting, informative and, not infrequently, combative column." At the time of this interview, Mr. Crump was residing with his wife Mary and their residence in Greenville. Mr. Crump has one daughter and three grandchildren."--
