- Biography:
- A native of Orlando, Florida, as a nineteen-year old Tennessee State University freshman, Cason participated in the Freedom Ride from Nashville, Tennessee to Montgomery, Alabama via Birmingham from May 17 to 21, 1961. He also took part in the ride from Nashville to Jackson, Mississippi via Montgomery, Alabama on May 28, 1961.
