Biography:

White civil rights worker and Amherst student featured in the Alabama Department of Public Safety's publication, Individuals active in civil disturbances. In 1967, Bloom co-founded the Liberation News Service with Ray Mungo. He reported on the civil rights movement for the Southern Courier in 1965 in Montgomery, Alabama.
