Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Patricia Dale Baskerville was an eighteen year old nurse's aid when she was arrested for her participation in the Freedom Rides. Baskerville was arrested in the Illinois Central terminal in Jackson, Mississippi on 9 July 1961 after she and eight others participated in a Freedom Ride from New Orleans, Louisiana to Jackson, Mississippi.
