- Biography:
- Lawyer and civil rights activist. He began his civil rights activism by volunteering Birmingham with the Lawyer Constitutional Defense Committee (LCDC) of the ACLU during the summer of 1964. He worked with COFO for the remainder of the year and worked with the NAACP Legal Defense Fund until 1967.
