Strengths:
The State Library?s collections include books, magazines, newspapers, state and federal government documents and audiovisual materials. The Louisiana Section houses a comprehensive collection of information about Louisiana, including books about the state, books by Louisiana authors, Louisiana periodicals, historical documents, maps, photographs, and much more. The library?s Services for the Blind and Physically Handicapped provides books and magazines in large-print, Braille and recorded formats to residents who are unable to use conventional reading materials.
