This book documents the city's desegregation of Little Rock's all-white five middle schools, which included East Side, Forest Heights, Pulaski Heights, Southwest, and West Side, in 1961 and 1962. An initial twenty-five Black students were selected to desegregate the junior high schools, of which 18 were interviewed by Dr. LaVerne Bell-Tolliver (circa 1967 and undated). The collection includes electronic mp4 copies and digital videocassettes of the interviews, as well as electronic transcripts.
