The session, aided by a translator, begins with an introduction of the visitors. Bishop Nikolai discusses what the seminar curriculum in Russia consists of as well as the daily routine for students. The archimandrite informs the audience that the church and government are separate in the Soviet Union; therefore, church activities are financially supported by the believers.
