There is to be a rally at the Mount Moriah Baptist Church on Ashby Street (now Joseph E. Lowery Blvd.) to raise money to assist the 28 students that were injured and to take care of arrangements for the three who were killed. At the same time as this interview, other student activists were meeting with the administrators of the Atlanta University Center requesting that they make a statement against actions such as occurred in Orangeburg.
