Goreau addresses the \"divine vision\" that shines through Jackson's eyes – 03:48. Jackson explains how simple things are often mystified through interpretation, and that creativity is a gift that we can each access by drawing upon an inner power. She goes on to state that she does \"not like to be great\", and that greatness has vanity to it; she states that she is a service to the music – 29:27. [00:00–59:56] LG098Goreau_Side2 begins mid-interview with Dinah Shore speaking from her Hollywood home on September 22, 1972. Shore comments on her friendship with Jackson, Jackson's appeal to both Black and white audiences, and her delight in her appearances on her show. They discuss memories of Jackson, including her skill in the kitchen – 22:05, being from the South, and the first time Shore met Jackson at a 1950s appearance on her show – 30:26. Goreau recalls Jackson's concert tour of India and her interactions with Indira Gandhi – 38:35.
