Changes in Boise. 5 - 12 Originally from Arkansas. Family background. Family moved to California. Father a minister who established Bethel AME Church in Boise. Other black churches in Boise. 12 - 15 Black organizations and clubs. Not many blacks involved in politics. Leroy Jones, a black lawyer. 15 - 19 He is president of the local NAACP. Most members are white. History of the local chapter. 19 - 24 Blacks live all over town. A few discrimination problems. 24 - 30 Not many black businesses in Boise. Other forms of entertainment. Belinda Hubbard, a singer from the area. He has played saxophone for various bands. 10 - 15 He now works as a masonry contractor.
