Minniece.Minniece was born in Meridian, Mississippi on October 9, 1912.He received a BA degree from the University of Texas in 1933 and a law degree from the University of Mississippi in 1936. In 1939, Minniece was elected to the Mississippi House of Representatives but resigned in 1941 to serve in the Pacific Theater during World War II.He served as Chancellor of the 12th District from 1948 until 1953.Minniece served as a member of the Lauderdale County Election Commission from 1956 to 1964, and he was a delegate to the Democratic National Convention in 1952.
