There is a letter from the Southern Regional Council Secretary-Treasurer, Agnes McKoy to Spearman stating the renewal of the organization's status as tax-exempt. There is also a report recounting the efforts of the Richland County Committee of the State Committee on Interracial Cooperation on some common issues faced by African Americans, as well as three copies of \"A Statement on the Race Problem in South Carolina.\" Both documents detail the lack of park and recreation areas, no representation on juries, and poor education facilities and opportunities. There is also a letter from Lillian Smith to Guy B.
