Prose contains news of the first murder trial of Ku Klux Klan members and Nazis for the November 3, 1979 shootings of five members of the Communist Workers Party (CWP). The letter requests financial support for legal assistance and bail for protesters at the trial and at city council meetings. The letters seems to date from the summer of 1980.
