- Description:
- This February 23, 1968 editorial published in the Greensboro College student newspaper, The Collegian, calls for support of the protests which had erupted in response to the killing on February 8 of three black college students in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The piece describes protests on the North Carolina A&T University (A&T) campus and claims 'the students at Greensboro College need to learn to associate with the students at Negro colleges.' Mention is made of a recent meeting between student newspaper staffs from Bennett, Greensboro College, Guilford College, A&T, and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
