- Part 3 of a group interview with seven members of the United States Navy B-1 Band. Those interviewed include: Wray R. Herring, Abe Thurman, Calvin Morrow, Richard Jones, Simeon O. Holloway, John Gilmer, and Huey L. Lawrence. The B-1 Band was the first all-African American band in the U. S. Navy during World War II. The members talk about how their lives might have been different had they not been in the band and had World War 2 not happened. Interviewer: Alex Albright.
