- Description:
- Parcel appraisal and photographs of houses at 104 W. 1st Street and 102 W. 1st Street, Greenville, N.C., circa 1962. The properties were purchased and the houses demolished as part of the Shore Drive Redevelopment Project meant to "revitalize" Greenville's downtown area, but which broke up a vibrant African American community and displaced over 250 African American families in the name of economic development. Date approximated.
