- Transcription of caption: To Feed the Hungry -- SCLC-Operation Breadbasket's Westside Hunger workers are taking the Breakfast Feeding program to Westside senior citizens who live in CHA Retirement homes. Shown in action preparing breakfast for 100 residents of the William Jones Apartment for Senior Citizens are members of the Westside Hunger Cell. (l. to r.) Rev. Pat Drinkard, Director; Mrs. Lovenia Alexander, Co-director; Mrs. Jane Dority; and Mrs. Emma Duncan, volunteer workers. The West side Cell, located in The Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 1421 W. Washburne, is feeding over 200 hungry children every morning.
